Day Thirty Five

Back to Brazil Main Page

December 4

Well still alive from surfing.
Actually FYI I have been informed that sharks near Floripa are not common in fact they are unlikely.
seems its too cold for the poor little fellas.
Well good thing my Canadian bacon keeps me warm....
I find the water quite nice here ...
Well here is my morning trek at the beach and some burrowing owls that live on the beach.

And the day just got better... well the sun was out for sure...
Guess I got a little toasted

And the afternoon waves... parasurfers enjoying the waves

And only I could do this...
Managed to surf over my own self....
Yup me being me....
Yes there is a scratch and a bruise some place there...
Zoom it if you have too but it is my war wound....
All good

Well credit given where it is due.
Here is one one my surf instructors
Artur and the staff of the surf school. Artur and his brother Victor have been great instructors despite having limited English...
Their English is not that bad but sometimes they had trouble finding the words needed.
But they do there best...
They have been a great help and made my experience in Brazil more enjoyable.

Unfortunately when wildlife meets road, the results are a loss.
This poor fella did not make it and was left to suffer on the road.
