Day Thirty Four

December 3

Well survived 2 surf lessons.
This morning was a bit cloudy and cool but bye 11 am the skies opened to an awesome day.
Returned to Mole beach for my second surf lesson at 3 PM and it was amazing.....
Clear skies
Hot sun
Gorgeous blue green ocean as far as the eye can see.....
It was such the sight from the hill top.

Forgot hot sun means hot sand....
Need a few calluses on my feet...
And yes the beach was full tiny bikinis as far as the eye could see...
Think I got a bit of eye staring today and maybe some chinked neck from turning too quickly...
Well the surf lesson went well
Steve's surfing didn't
A bit more to it than meets the eye...
But I still have one more day to try again.
I had a wonderful time trying to surf.
They make it look so easy...
But when its new to you it comes at a price...
This afternoon they moved me to another beach cause I was too distracted at this one....
Bikinis and all....
No actually we walked a mile off the trail to find a quieter beach with better waves...
But still I suck at surfing....
But having the time of my life.
I could see myself coming back to the next symposium and maybe staying a month extra.....
Starting to like this warm weather....
Definitely gonna miss the long summer days and hot sun...

Well they put the Christmas lights up at my hotel.
It is a nice quiet hotel, clean and colorful.
It has a German gingerbread influence in design...
It is a nice change from the more commercialized hotels that look so lifeless.
This one is run by a nice sweet couple who are so friendly, and try to make me feel at home.
Have to mention the price for such a clean place is quite nice too.
Well tomorrow morning we try baiting for sharks again.
