Day Eighteen

November 17

Well expect some delays.
I think I am a bit more relaxed at finishing.
I have done the bulk work, and now it is the finer details.

Today there will be no pictures of my progress, due to weather...
We had 2 1/2 days of hot hell, kinda great actually, except this morning.

It was hot and muggy, you could feel that something had to happen.
And in the afternoon, it did.

It started with a small trickle, not enough to stop me I worked under my tarp.
But when the weather decided we had enough it opened up with no mercy.
Tarps were whipped in the wind and the down pour, with thunder and lightning
show began.
It was a scurry to get tools to safe dry areas, and a dash to unplug
everything before electrocution...
And it poured for a good hour.
The ground that was dry was now flooded with running rivers.....
and it was time to call it quits.
In a way it was good, as I retreated for an afternoon siesta, which was
refreshing.
Tomorrow will be a fresh start, and I hope the rains will wash away the
mountains of talc which accumulated on the sculpture.....
we will give 'r hard tomorrow...
weather permitting.

Take care.
